I found CrossFit in late 2010 and fell in love.  Shortly after that I got my CrossFit Level 1 and began sharing my passion with others.  My favorite part of coaching is watching people accomplish things that they didn't believe were possible.

I’m Collin Shadwell and I have been a member of SOTO for over 5 years. After two years of crushing WODs and seeing the benefits of the programming, I decided to start a fitness program at the school where I work. Partnering with my friend, Sarah, we both attained our Level 1 CrossFit Certification and started our affiliate for kids, CrossFit Hustle and Muscle located at Highlands High School. Helping kids see the benefits of maintaining a healthy lifestyle through exercise has been an amazing experience. It also allowed me to see how much I enjoyed coaching. This allowed me to transition smoothly into becoming a coach at SOTO where I try to come to every class with a positive attitude, helpful tips, and an amazing playlist!
